The Build
This build was all about scale. The homeowners wanted a deck with enough room to host comfortably — multiple seating areas, space for a dining table, and still room to move around without everything feeling cramped. The generous footprint delivers on that.
The wooded lot creates natural privacy on three sides, so the railing choice was purely about safety rather than screening. Black aluminum keeps the visual weight low and lets the tree line serve as the backdrop.
